DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY ~Ever wanted to play Rock ‘N Roll in church – but didn’t think it was allowed? Now’s your chance. You may think it’s the “Devil’s Music” - but it’s GOD Who created it! Let’s take back what the enemy has stolen. How come we get excited at sporting events & music concerts but we’re quiet and reserved in the “church”? YOU ARE THE CHURCH! He saved you radically. Worship Him Radically. ICBC already has a great group of musicians involved in the Worship Band. As our church continues to grow additional Worship Bands will be developed. As Psalm 33:3 states: Play skillfully with a shout of joy. Romans 12:1 & 2 tell us to present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice to God is a “reasonable act of worship.” Our desire is to both PLAY SKILLFULLY and OFFER our LIVES TO GOD!
WHY DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST? There are two reasons why this team is a part of the Worship Arts Program at Iron City.
not only within the church body, but also for future believers who need to watch and experience what the body of Christ looks like in action and in love. Providing this ministry will offer another entry point for people to build relationships.
As a Worship Arts Program, we never seek to change things just for the sake of change. We will never change the message that is shared, but we are constantly looking for new and more effective methods to use as a means to present the gospel LOUD, CLEAR, VIBRANT, and EXPLOSIVE. This ministry will help Iron City accomplish that goal.
