Missions
Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) challenges Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God. The mission of God is to reconcile a lost world to Him. In Matthew 28:18-20 is the Great Commission. WMU leads people to experience missions personally through ministry and witness, develops mission awareness, supports missions work through prayer and giving and nurtures lifestyles that reflect commitment and obedience to The Great Commission.
Angel Mission Ministry
The Angel Mission Ministry (AMM) operates under the mission of the WMU. A large part of our work is ministering to the homebound in our church and community. We current send cards of encouragement, birthday cards, a birthday gift and a Christmas gift to 60 shut-ins. We also visit our shut-ins several times each year.
In addition, the AMM donates products to the American Cancer Society, Sav-A-Life and missionaries at home and abroad.
