Testimony

I came to Christ as a child of 7 at Glen Addie Baptist. I was a son of alcoholic parents who never went to church and had no use for Christ. Through a godly sister, who took me to church and a witnessing Pastor, Dr. Billy Kitchens, I came to Christ.

God has always proven faithful to my family and me. I have always felt that, as a Christian, I was a minister. I served in the church most of my life. I felt God had called me to the ministry of music in the early 70’s and blessed me tremendously. It was not until 1983 that God gave me an urgency to preach and pastor.

I have been married to Jean (Gaither) Holcomb since March 15, 1969. We have 3 godly children; Dennis (1969), Kimberly (1970), Brandy (1976). We have 8 grandchildren.

Education

I love developing my skills as a Husband to Jean, a Dad to Dennis, Kim, and Brandy, a Paw Paw to my grandchildren. I also love to read, and enjoy gardening and fishing.
