Iron City's Care Ministry provides meals and encouragement to families in their greatest times of need.  We prepare and serve food to families who have lost loved ones (served primarily at the church before or after a funeral). The Family Food Ministry will take food to homes when needed. 

Help Within a Sunday School Class

Belonging to a small group is important at the time of a personal need because it is this group that ministers most to each member.  When there is a long-term health problem that class members need help in providing for, the Care Ministry would step in and assist in making sure food is provided as needed.  

Reaching Our Community

We believe we should reach beyond the church family into the community.  So when there is a need for food within our local community, such as when death or long-term illness occurs, we will be there to help provide meals.
