F.A.I.T.H. Outreach

F.A.I.T.H. is one of Iron City Baptist Church’s evangelistic tools. This is a 13 week class that is done twice a year. Learners (those who have never gone through F.A.I.T.H.) are asked to memorize a short presentation that is taught during the 13 week class. You will also be assigned to a “Team Leader” and one other person. The Team Leader knows the presentation and has experience in evangelism.

Each team has assignments each week which includes helping you learn your presentation. You will be able to give H.O.P.E group testimony, as well as an evangelistic testimony. Learning this develops confidence and encouragement to carry out the Great Commission of Matthew 28.

There are two semesters designated for F.A.I.T.H. each year. Each semester runs for 10 weeks. The first usually begins in February and the second in August. We have several different nights during the week that we go out in order to make it convenient for our teams.

This ministry will provide you with the books, lessons, people, encouragement, and experience to carry out your journey in faith. The only thing the church want be doing in heaven is evangelism. That is something we must be doing now.

WHY DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST?

This ministry exists for the survival of Iron City Baptist Church. Without the enlisting, training, equipping, and encouraging of evangelistic teams, the church would no longer grow. Evangelism is another big step in spiritual maturity. The Bible commands us to “go tell” others.
