DESCRIPTION OF MINISTRY If you’ve ever considered the world to be your stage or if you’ve been labeled “melodramatic” by your friends, relatives, teachers, spouse, or children, this could be the team for you. It is for those who enjoy writing scripts or practicing and performing short skits in front of a large group of people. The Drama Team will be an integral part of the ICBC Sunday worship services throughout the year as well as producing an annual Christmas Dinner Theatre! This ministry will be used to enhance the purpose of worship & evangelism. Lights! Camera! And…ACTION!
WHY DOES THIS MINISTRY EXIST? There are two reasons why this team is a part of the Worship Arts Program at Iron City.
~ not only within the church body, but also for future believers who need to watch and experience what the body of Christ looks like in action and in love. Providing this ministry will offer another entry point for people to build relationships.
As a Worship Arts Program, we never seek to change things just for the sake of change. We will never change the message that is shared, but we are constantly looking for new and more effective methods to use as a means to present the gospel LOUD, CLEAR, VIBRANT, and EXPLOSIVE. This ministry will help Iron City accomplish that goal.
