Missions
Woman's Missionary Union (WMU) challenges Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God. The mission of God is to reconcile a lost world to Him . Matthew 28:18-20 the Great Commission. WMU leads people to experience missions personally through ministry and witness; to develope missions awareness; to support missions work through prayer and giving; and to nuture lifestyles that reflect commitment and obedience to the Great Commission.
One way we do missions at Iron City is by ministering to people who are "shut-in." We send cards of encouragement, birthday cards, a birthday present and a Christmas present. We also visit our shut-ins' homes several times each year.
Alabama Baptist Children's Home & Family Ministries
This ministry is in need of strong Christian homes to provide care for children. If you believe God may be calling you to be a foster parent please call Robbie Ball (256-831-4081).

Sav-A-Life
Volunteer councilors are needed. Training begins in August. See Kay Coger for an application. If you are interested in graphic design, they could use your help designing banners.
